Travel

Getting there

Fly to Copenhagen Airport — there’s a direct train to Nykøbing Falster (about 1h 45min). Use Rejseplanen for up-to-date schedules and routes — it’s more reliable than Google Maps for public transport in Denmark.

Aerial map with the church marked in red, parking areas marked and labelled in blue, and walking routes to the church shown in yellow
Parking at Klosterkirken The church is marked in red. Parking areas are marked in blue and labelled as free or paid. The yellow lines show the walking routes to the church. Tap the map to open it at full size.

Vesterskoven is about a 6-minute drive or 25-minute walk from the church. We’ll make sure everyone gets there comfortably. If you have a spare seat in your car, we’d really appreciate it if you could offer another guest a lift from the church.

Attire

Dress code

Festive attire, summer colours welcome. Oliver will be in a sand-coloured suit and tie. Wear something you can dance in.

Gifts

Our wishlist

Many of you have asked what we’d like, so we’ve put a list together. Think of it as inspiration, nothing more.

If you already have something in mind, please go with that. We’d love it just as much. The list is simply a starting point for anyone who’d like one: mostly small, useful things for our little flat in Nørrebro, in every price range, plus a few shared experiences for the honeymoon. The only thing we’d ask: no flowers or alcohol, please. We’ll have plenty of flowers after the wedding, and we don’t normally drink alcohol.

Above all, having you there is the real gift. Many of you are travelling a long way for one Saturday in August, and that means more to us than anything wrapped.
